Andrew S. Klatskin is admitted to
the bars in Mississippi, 1973, and Colorado, 1974. He
received his B.S. from The Ohio State University in
1969, his M.B.A. from Long Island State University in
1971, and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi in
1973.
Andy’s practice focuses on real estate and commercial
transactions, real estate development, real estate
leasing, common interest community development, and golf
course and hospitality-based developments.
He authored “The Condominium as a
Development Project” in The Colorado Lawyer,
November, 1982, and he wrote “Common Interest
Communities” in Krendl, Colorado Methods of Practice,
5th Ed., Thomson/West 2007.
Andy is a member of the Denver Bar
Association; the Colorado Bar Association, for which he
served on the Board of Governors, 1989-1990, and was
Chair of the Real Estate Law Section, 1987-1988; the
Mississippi State Bar Association; the American Bar
Association; The Colorado Bar Foundation; he is
recognized as a Colorado Super Lawyer, 2006 to the
present; and he is a Fellow in the American College of
Real Estate Lawyers.
Andy is also Of Counsel to the law
firm of Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC and currently works
out of the firm's Denver, Colorado office.
